my ph of my runoff is 6.2.. using tapwater pretty alkaline going in.. 8.0 - 8.8.. using 50/50 mix of happy frog and ocean forest.. some of the leaves feel thick and a little crispy.. looks like nute nurn on mayne but haven't fed anything.. only in 4th week since germination.. transplanted into large containers on 02/13 then started noticing the issues..

I hear that ff is notoriously acidic.. and I already have a runoff of 6.2 with 8-8.8 water going in.. if I lower the ph of the water going in will that not lower the ph of the soil even more?

I use FF line soil and nutes and use ph of 7. my plants are doing great no problems. I dont trust the reading of runoff

No. You feeding solutions will buffer to the mediums pH in a half hour or so after application. Not the other way around. Runoff pH mean dick. Reading it just makes you start chasing a problem that most likely does not exist.

ok so I have my tap water or o iahve distilled water.. should I use the tap water and lower ph with ph down? or should I just use the distilled with a ph of 7.0 already? or does it matter?

Plant looks over watered droopy. Youre probably having issues because the containers too big and the rootzone cant dry out fast enough. Water less more often until the plant fits the container. Then next time transplant up container sizes in stages or let them grow bigger in the pot before you go to such a large container size.
