Mag def?

Hey guys I think this is a mag deficiency but not sure?

CC bubba kush
3 gal coco
Veg week 7
Ppm 600-700 on a x700 (truncheon?) scale
210 ppm tap same scale (good amount of calcium naturally)
2ml per gallon of protekt
The rest is made up of foliage pro
None of the other strains under the light have any symptoms except a bit light green from underfeeding I assume
The light is a little close to the plants, 1000w mh, 12-16 inches away, but none of the plants are showing bleaching
Room temps 70-75 maybe a few degrees higher directly on leaf surface but last time I used my laser thermometer thingy it was like 77-78
Ph 5.6-6.1 but mostly on the lower side of that. I let it drift a bit people have a wide range of phs listed for coco.
This is leaving me to believe it’s mag.
Supplementing with Epsom salts at a tbs per 5 gallons. Roughly around 120 ppm I think.
Only thing is, the outside of the leaves are dark green not the veins!
Any help is appreciated, sorry if I missed anything let me know and I can include whatever!
OH! Water usually twice daily till a tiny bit of runoff, tips aren’t nute burnt and I have kept Ppm pretty low so I don’t think it’s buildup.
Sorry for the ramble and poor formatting I normally just lurk so I’m doing this from my phone! 24021B2B-86D0-4068-B473-37FEC5CAC0D8.jpeg206FF03B-8179-44B5-9C82-3174C501D589.jpegE9F6F05A-AEE6-48F1-B001-C6BFF06E1ABF.jpeg206FF03B-8179-44B5-9C82-3174C501D589.jpegEB63CA8E-2B3F-44D2-B403-094AA653428F.jpegE9F6F05A-AEE6-48F1-B001-C6BFF06E1ABF.jpeg

What?1000 watts at 12-16”?? One pic shows some leaves curling. Heat stress! Also I know your tap ppm should have calcium but really how much is usable? My tap is 190 ppm. I still have to use calmag at 1ml/ litre. Back off your light.

Ya this is my first time using an HID this big in veg but I was just thrown off because it was only on the BK which are afghani and should handle the heat better... and the plant tops were only 76-78 and didn’t look bleached. I moved them up regardless and they seem to be doing there happy pray upwards again but time will tell if they continue cupping

It has sense turned to this... can’t be rust fungi as nothing rubs off... phosphorus maybe sense they begged a long ass time in coco?

600 - 700 PPM on a 0.7 scale is a pretty weak feed, especially with all the tap overhead. Too much calcium can lockout magnesium but I doubt that's the problem, I would just increase feed strength. I see the beginnings of multiple deficiencies.

Thank you. I know a ton of people that use the Lucas formula with one parts keep it around 700-800 but I’m not sure which scale that was on and whether that included tap ppm. I know people say it’s rare things are ever under fertilized. It’s not ph I just calibrated my bluelabs meter and frequently compare it to ph drops. I’ll bump up the feed. I have them a low nute flush 5 days ago and one of them is still very very wet and not drinking now so that’s lovely too lol

This "Ph 5.6-6.1 but mostly on the lower side of that." and the fact that your light was a little too close. If you're running 5.6 or lower, you're locking out your Mg which is part of your problem. Hover closer to 5.8 and if you're going to let it swing, let it swing up...not down. And if the leaf margins are still curled in / up, move your light up some...until it disappears. Good luck.

It has been raised for over a week now, and it when I said on the lower side it is mostly 5.7 5.8. I have been supplementing 100 ppm of mg for a week now, and the more recent pics of the curled up leaves were from the middle of the plant a good 45 inches below the light At least. I’m really hoping this is just residual damage I didn’t notice because they were packed closer together in the veg room and now that they are in the flower room with space I noticed more!

bump. The plants are praying again ... after adding 100 ppm mag, bumping total ppm up to 900, and adding about 300 ppm of a bloom formula too the mix. Anyone else using just a one part veg or foliage pro type of formula run into deficiencies during longer veg times? I know I’m on the lower side of ppm but I always hear that people drastically over fertilize. It wasn’t just one of my strains it was 4!
