Made a BP for a comparison test

Ok showed you guys some pics of my lame DWC grow in which my girls are growing fairly slowly. Some of you suggested BP to me and so I made a 5 gallon bucket BP. Its going to be in the corner of my tent and Im germing seeds and soaking rockwool now. Im going to do it just the way Roseman's tutorial suggests and see what happens. I think it would disturb my already growing plants too much to try to add feeder tubes to their net pots so this is the next best thing. Hers a few pics of my setup.

Oh and one question: What kind of airstone do you guys like? My 6 inch stone doesnt seem to be getting oxygen into my water pump. I might go buy 2- 12 inch stones and a better air pump later but wanted to ask the pros 1st.

I have 2 12" stones in my 6 gallon rubbermaid res, with a 150 gph H20 pump to 4 sites...working pretty well so far...

your gonna want to light proof that bucket so you dont run into problems with algae and other things, and try seperating the airstone from the water pump it will allow the air to flow out more evenly and cover more area. looks like you got the right idea though, glad to see another join in the experience of BP.

Ok I wrapped a shirt around the bucket and zip tied it to the top. Ghetto I know but it works and might kinda insulate the bucket as well. Its light proof now. I also seperated the airstone, Thanks.
