the water has more bubbles than I've ever seen but if the roots arent in the the plants are dying this pump has gotten really hot so hot that its altering the rooms temp its not as loud as I thought it would be and its also not as effective as I thought it would be can someone please help me ???

Can you put the pump in a different area ? (run pipe and wire )

Or put a fan on the pump blowing away from the grow

Hey, correct me if I dont know what im saying. im new.

The bubbles pop and small water molecules mist out, delivering nutrition to your hydroton pellets. I'm pretty sure you can't see those water molecules really.

Are you saying you bought a air pump, that is supposed to make mist like bubbles, from bubbles that come from the air stone? that you can watch turn into mist?

Maybe it means that its just pushing so much air, making the bubbles that pop on the surface much bigger. making more air born water molecules that hit the net pots. Delivering more water and such to your plants.

I don't think your supposed to be able to sit down and just watch this happen with the naked eye.

yea with most pumps the mist like bubbles are visible to the eyes, and I think what is happening is the pump is well pushing really hard, is it that I need to purchase something else to make this pump produce mist like bubbles ,.
Does anyone else have this pump its a 110watt active aqua its a general hydroponics product I believe

yea...I personally don't even use air stones...I just wieght down the airline and thats it...as long as the water is up high you'll be good to go....just keep the water an inch or two away from the bottom of the netpot....

dude you dont need the air stone to mist anything you can fill your res up so the roots are submerged in the water the air stone just provides oxygen that allows the roots to breath under water. the misting you are talking about is aeroponics not dwc, however you can root clones the way you described but the water level has to be very shallow.

Im really sure that if there are no roots making it to the water and your bubbles arent rising to the occasion maiking the mist like bubbles they will die, I have purchased a 110 watt pump sure if the roots are in the water then it will be fine but if they are not well thats why Im mad mad mad -I AM ! period point blank.
If come to the solution on my own I just went back to my smaller air pumps and now there is a jumping bubbley mist again thanks all
