LUXX LED 645w just came out in Hydro stores....$1050 out the door. What do you LED fanatics think?

Specs and Par chart:

Keep in mind that these guys didnt measure their ppfd chart with reflective walls for some reason.... thats why the edges are so low.

Info I could gather:
Claims Osram and Samsung Diodes.
1800umol light output.
3800K Kelvin Rating

What do ya'll think? Good light for $1050? Dunno where the driver is though. Is it competitive with the Chilled's and Gavitas of the world or an overpriced piece of garbage?

Luxx DE's are flying off the shelves. The LED looks like every other strip build. Looks cool though!

ya looks decent. Dont know why the hell the middle of the fixture is so damn long going downwards. looks like its going to be blocking some of the diodes light.

Price is making it very appealing though. Im messaging them to find the umols it puts out....because the ppfd seems kinda low at the 12 inch height compared to its competitors

Yeh I was kind of thinking that too... But 3800k isnt terrible. These "full cycle" spectrums are irritating. People get these fixtures for flower I'd assume 90% of the time. I don't get why companies don't try to focus closer to between 2700-3300k.

ya most of these LED bar lights have a shit ton of blue. the knockoff Meijius, Optic Slim 600hs, Gavitas, this one and Growers Choice ROI 680. I think out of the bar ones only the Fluence and Chilled have a heavy red spectrum.

Never heard of them, they don't give much info, not cheap. Spec sheet is lame and the spectrum chart has no numbers.
43.18" x 48.47" , won't fit in a 4x4.

They can't get the input voltage right, spec sheet lists the voltage three times and they don't agree, rather redundant and sloppy.
Input Voltage 120-277V, 347V
Rated Mains Voltage 120-277V, 347V
Voltage Range 90-305V
The owners manual shows 220-277V, three times.

Where did you find the umol and kelvin numbers?

Theyre the new guys on the block here in Cali. umol
I asked them on instagram yesterday night and they said 1700umols.

Kelvin i found from here https://growershouse.com/luxx-645w-led-pro-120-277v

According to a hydro shop these are getting sold left and right since they came out a few days ago. Theyre on backorder now supposedly.

Not sure on Fluence but ChilLed as well, actually has a heavy blue spectrum actually incorporating blue diodes on their strips. Meiju doesn't even do that.
