1 plant or 3 plants or 5 plants.. of, 5 is not really possible.. LOL
depends on how big you grow your plants..... if it is all coming from one light, then probably only one plant...
can you take a picture of the light?
I will assume it is several CFL lights... and if so, you can spread them around 1-3 plants and then flower the plants when they are very small (less than 4 inches) and you can still get 1 ounce of chronic
probably you should stick with 1 plant and if you do everything perfect you could get 1 oz..

Well maybe I might be doing my math wrong.... I have a 120 watt HPS lamp with about 6 100 Watt CFLs surrounding the area. Its not my intention to bring the plants into flower indoors.... Im transplanting them outside when they reach a few feet tall. Is this a sufficient enough amount of light for 9 or 10 plants to veg under?

It is sufficient but NOT ideal for 9 plants... You may experience some serious shock when you transplant them straight to SUN LIGHT.... you may want to consider using a shade cloth for the first week after OUTDOOR transplant.

if one was to add on a few more CFLs to make it a total of 10 or so CFLs and a HPS would this be somewhat Ideal? I want the best for my babies.... And Im not familiar with a shade cloth....? Any info that you can give me knwm for moving my indoor plants to outdoor would be so greatly appreciated. I feel if I grow them big inside and then go outside I will achieve a much higher yield with massive plants.... is this realistic?

Your idea is sound and could give you a much bigger yield....
A shade cloth can be a simple screen... like the screens you have on your window.. this will "dilute" the suns rays...
a 1000 watt HPS would be ideal for your situation.. then you would not need any CFLs...
CFLs make for good side lighting in small grow areas...

Knowm, thank you... If you say its what would be best, then, I will look into getting a 1000 watt. Do you really think the idea is worth pursuing? My goal is to get the highest yeild possible without shorting on quality..... And I believe outdoor bud is simply better, its meant to be grown outside.

It will give you tight nodal growth which is what EVERYBODY wants... VEntialtion and heat removal will be key.. so that you can get the light as close to the plants as possible.. The 1000 watt bulb will make the transition from inside to outside easier on your plants..

Don't agree Knowm.
1000w HIDs have a poor lumen to watt ratio when compared to a 600w HID. They cost more to run and have to be used further away from the plant tops as well as putting out a lot more heat. The 600w HID has the best lumen per watt ratio of any HID on the market, a digital ballast one will come closer to matching the lumen output of a 1000w HID, as well as costing a lot less money to run, extending bulb life and provide on the fly switching between HPS and Metal Halide.
No comparison in my mind.
I've never understood American growers fixation with the inefficient 1000w HIDs, a continuation of their 'big is better' philosophy I guess.
