Hey All,

Here are some pix of what LSTing has done for me...

pic 1- before 12/12
pic 2 - before 12/12/ side view
pic 3 - before harvest & out of bondage
pic 4 - with the cuffs off
pic 5 - out of bondage a few days before harvest
pic 6 - one of the bottom branch buds in my big ass hand

just for shits n giggles I'm gonna throw in a couple pix of my 1st experimental attempt at topping... this plant grew too long, needed to be transplanted into a bigger pot (over rootbound), and had other issues... I wish I could have seen how this plant would have finished if it had been in a bigger pot...

Good job d4. I also think Lst is the way to go in small or Micro grows. Topping you will end up bending them and tieing anyway

so to LST all you basically have to do is tie down the main cola, and as other branches grow up wards, tie them down too?

thats EXACTLY what you do. everything thats gonna bud, tie it down as it grows up. tie it so the budsite is facing down if you can, and in a day itll bend right back up. this is how you keep it short. and those are some beautiful buds by the way, my plants look exactly like that, just without the huge buds, lol. im in week 4 of flowering, so hopefully ill look like that before im done man. beautiful job. +rep

There are many methods. Basically what you asked is correct. The thumbs below are one plant, 11" tall, 32" across, 8 inches thick.

I've heard some growers that keep running the plants top around the whole top of the pot it sits in, imagine a fuckin bud crown...lol...

yeh dude, your shit is fuckin awesome. Yours were definitely alot more healthy than mine are. Its because i transplanted into new soil like 5 times during veg through the beginning of flowering. Its because i went from MG to regular soil, back to MG, then reg soil with MG nutes, and then finally found a hydro shop and went to FF nutes and soil. So im just thankful that nothin hermied on me, lol. This is just my 1st grow, so im not trippin or anything, it was only bagseed. Im startin up my new grow here tomorrow, and im takin a fuckin commando approach to this shit. I just got done spendin like 700 + bucks on the setup for this new grow cuz i wanted todo it right, and i cant fuckin wait. My bagseed girls still have like 5 weeks or some such shit left of flowering to do, so i know theyll at LEAST double or triple in size budwise, i just wanned to see what your plants looked like, so i can see what mine WOULDA looked like if i would have got it right the 1st time and never transplanted, lol.
