LST, topping, or both? Need advice plz

Hey so right now I have 4 plants that are growing strong, I have LST'd two of them just for fun but I am thinking it may not be very beneficial to them.

I want to make them bushes but i have a big grow space, would topping be more efficient?

I have a 4x4x8 tent, have plants in 5 gallon pots and may add 5 more plants that will be about 1 month behind in growth

Oh also they are currently about 6-8" tall with 1/2" node spacing

Don't worry about adding 5 more (you only have enough room for about 4 plants imo). Continue to LST until flower. Veg for 4-5 weeks. Top them one week into flower (this stunts the initial flower stretch). Good luck.
