LST my autoflower??

I'd LSTd two of my four plants at about week 3 to see the difference in yield. Then ended up with a problem like yours, one that I hadn't done any on outgrowing the others in height, which I should of anticipated really.

My taller one is on the back also but in the right corner. I just got a shoe lace and threaded it round the stem near the top of the plant evenly spaced between the nodes and slowly bent it over towards the metal frame and tied it off round that. In a couple of days I'm going to adjust it and bend it a little further if needed. I'm doing it in small stages to avoid snapping the stem. It seems to be working so far.

It's usually not a good idea to tie off on something that's fixed as you can't move the plant if you have too, but it's only temporary. Ideally you want to pierce some holes at the top of your pot and tie through that if it's not going to put to much strain on the plant pulling at that angle.

Have you grown many autos before? All I've read says not to do anything that's high stress as the plants don't have time to recover. I'd be interested to see the difference in yields. Have you got a thread going?
 
Damn, 23 days old? NICE. How do you people make your plants grow so bloody fast. Anyway, go ahead man tie her down it won't hurt her. Just be super gentle, because by the looks of it those stems at the back are thick. Just keep tightening the string every day or so, slowly but steadily.

Supercropping could be an option, although I don't know how autflowers could respond to HST. I'm sure there are many growers who do it though.

I've been doing autos exclusively for about 2 years so I've definitely grown a lot Haha. Usually I don't mess with them but I decided to give it a shot with a couple dinafem critical plus. I did it to two plants and left one alone to see how they compare

Agree - guess one shouldn't do too much to auto's except removing a few fan leaves if blocking light - can alos use the "bending method" so you will not be removing any leaves. Hope this helps
 
Here's a few pictures. Usually I just tuck leaves to get the lower branches exposed, but I figured why not try... They seem to have recovered nicely. I'll keep ya posted

I tuck lots of leaves too lol.

They look fine like you say. What week are you into? Youll have to put a thread up if the yield is no different to the one you haven't touched.
 
I think my tents the same size. Got 4 in there at 5 weeks old and space is getting very tight. Bit late to do anything now though! Not got the climate here to pull one out of the tent.
