LST help

I inherited some plants. they're about 3 feet tall. they're not very bushy. I decided to try to bend the tops about 3-4 inches down until they were horizontal. the first 6 went good, but the last one broke. Is this bad? Will the plant still make buds?

The plant will still bud, I would trim the plant just below where it broke.

I guess you learned your lesson now, but its better to tie plant down and tighten it every day until you get the bend you want, not all at once.
