Simply cut the very top (apex) and leave everything else. The two ramaining axilary buds will take over.

usin a 200 watt cfl veg bulb and will be using 600 watt hps for flower and i will have pics as soon as possible, i have a grow journal goin on to if anyone wants to check it ou still no pics on their but still take a look

So basically allow it to grow for now and then remove growth tips that are below one foot of the canopy. with LSTing and everything the canopy should be so dense that not enough light will reach any under bud/leaf. Better to use energy on actually productive budsites no?

In my opinion you should avoid any sort of stress in flower. Essential oils are not all that essential to the plants you are growing and most stress factors end up fucking your shit up.
I trim all axial bud growth tips as the clones are placed into their final pot. approx one to two weeks before I induce flowering.

if your using lst or scrog properly you shouldnt have any unproductive budsites (no offense meant, just saying it.) if he's going to lolipop them he should do that pretty soon here imo, original poster-bro, you should do a screen of green, its extremely effective imo.
i just started on my way to getting wasted too lol, so far only 1 beer down and 29 to go yet.

Eh I don't know about you but my plants seem to grow so quickly it is almost impossible to keep them limited to about 1 foot of canopy depth. With a scrog you are probably going to be able to have a canopy depth of less then a foot.
When I LST my plants end up being about two feet tall, 3-4 feet wide and would have a canopy about 1 1/2 ft deep. I remove the last six inches before flowering because it only ever produces the most minimal and airy buds which I end up having to cook or something.
I am at a point where trimming is getting annoying and so if it is going to take like 6 buds to get a gram together it is getting cooked.

well the branches that were closest to the ground when i tied down are all shaded by the ones that stayed on topof the bend i wish i could get some better pics to show u wat i mean i have 3 photos in my journal if u want to take a look not the best though dont know how to make them clear and bigger at the same time
