Lowryder 2, whats wrong?

Hi,
This is a 20 day old LR2 being grow in a PC grow case under CFL's. I'm using Fox Farm Happy Frog soil. Watering is with distilled water with a PH of 6.5. I would think this looks like a nitrogen deficiency, I'm not sure if the brown spots indicate something else. This is only my second grow, so I'm a bit of a newbie. I wouldnt have expected a deficiency this early in the grow, but its not happy about something. Thanks in advance for the advice.

looks like a magnesium deficiency.

this can be quickly resolved by watering with 1 tablespoon epsom salts/gallon of water. until you can correct nutrient lockout, try foliar feeding. the plants can be foliar fed with ½ a teaspoon/quart of epsom salts (first powdered and dissolved in some hot water). Mg can get locked-up by too much Ca, Cl or ammonium nitrogen. don't overdo Mg or you'll lock up other nutrients.

Dormeo,
Thanks for the reply. Ill do some research on Mg deficiencies. To me its hard to tell if its N or Mg deficient. Do you think the plant will green back up, or has the damage been done?

it's not that much, doesn't matter anyway. i guess the main thing is to prevent it from spreading.
