Hi All,

Quick question - If i wanted to remove some of the lower smaller buds on the first set of branches even tho i'm about 2 weeks from harverst? - would that be bad?

Might be a stupid question I realize...

thanks

no thats fine just dry it right and it will be you first sample.
many growers do this to test their smoke before harvesting.
(enjoy and don't remove to many buds until you are happy its time to chop).

LUDA.

its no big deal. i do it all the time. the most thatll happen is the plant will stop putting energy into the lower smaller buds and concentrate on the cola and top buds..its not a harmful thing to do especially if you need some to smoke

the upper buds will be ready first so you can double harvest your plant/s if you chop most of the lower buds first they wont be as developed as the top buds (that will be ready first).
if you harvest the top buds first then you can regenerate the plant for another harvest.

yes and if you harvest the top buds first then the energy will be reverted to the lower buds giving a better yield.

how is that possible? to regenerate another harvest..

u dont regenerate another harvest,u simply chop the top colas and let the bottom mature more....to regenerate is after harvest, leave as many leaves as possible along with some lower budsites for new growth when switched back to veg
