LOTS of questions

So I'm going to start a grow soon Indoor. i just wanted to make sure that what I'm doing is right and my plants will do good . I don't have much money so its very low budget. I already have some lights but i probably won use but ill use the fixture for them. I have what i think is T5? they are long fluro tubes that are 4' i think. The bulbs in them are 40 watt no clue what they are 2700k-6500k? but I'm going to buy another fixture and 2700K lights and 6500K lights for veg and flowering so all together 4 6500K(or cool white?) for veg and 2700K(warm white?) for flowering. The some soil with an NPK of 10-5-5 or 20-10-20 right? or something like that where the PK add up to or under the N? So ill start them under 24hour light then switch to 18/6 for vegging for around 2 weeks then switch to 12/12 for flowering for how ever long. Umm i have no clue about Nutes or anything Feel free to add anything and everything the more info i have the better my grow will be. :weed:

Look on the bulb of those lights. Sounds like t-12 to me. Get some CFL's. T-12 fluorescents are only good for seedlings and rooting clones. In order to get decent results you are going to need a lot of light. Save your money and do this right or you will just be back on here asking "why won't my plants grow?" or "why did I only get a couple of joints off of this plant?" I don't want to discourage you but do lot's of research. It can be overwhelming but if you want to do it right you need to learn a lot more about growing. Best of luck and welcome to RIU.
 
looks pretty good here some input..

1. the long floro tubes are nice for veggin just make sure u got at least 100w per plant

2. u cant use those lights for flowering your buds will come out lose and looking terrible

3 if your not using soil that has nutes in it then u can add nutes

4. dont use miracle grow please

5. for flowering i'd get 25w ezuivilent tp 100w cfl's they work wonders
 
one main inmportant thing...

dont listen to people who tell you that u cant grow and bud with only cfls i do it all the time and my results are great

other than that happy growin man
 
man no u dont i have 2 plants with 3 cfl's and my buds turn out dank ass crystally and get me high as fuck and anyone who smokes it thats all i use and my electric bill is way lower than if i used a hps .. yes hps are nice but i personally like cfl's they do the same job
