Hey all!

its officially been 16 days since being in soil what are your thoughts and or recomendations?024.jpg021.jpg026.jpg029.jpg028.jpg025.jpg035.jpg040.jpg037.jpg033.jpg032.jpg042.jpg031.jpg019.jpg039.jpg020.jpg041.jpg023.jpg027.jpg034.jpg030.jpg036.jpg043.jpg044.jpg038.jpg022.jpg

1st grow, 16 days ... they look awesome.
A worry about your "pots" however ... that flange will make replanting difficult. When the time comes, i suggest cutting the tops off. Did you punch air/drain holes in the bottoms? cn

Yea there are several drainage holes, how do i go about topping them? would this prevent me having to re-plant them?

Thanks

I don't think you can prevent replanting them unless you want to have a tiny grow. In a month max those puppies will be rootbound, and that's talking about veg only. Imo you'll want to be in at least 3-gallon pots for the 12/12 endgame ... real pots, not made of metal imo.
What soil is that? it looks woodchippy.
Two things I'd mind also:
Think about getting more lights, like a 2nd six-CFL fixture running "warm white" 2700K bulbs, for flower and later veg.
Also since that is bagseed, you'll get an unpredictable male/female ratio, and you won't be able to tell the boys from the girls until after you've begun flowering. cn

I was thinking in a couple weeks when i should think about replanting them, that i would take the healthiest two of the four and put them into 5g buckets, im using mg typical soil, im working on more effiecient setup for lights and adding more. clean brand new 5g buckets w/ drainage holes as good as real pots?

The 5-gallon pails should work pretty well, if they do a good job of blocking light. (Roots don't like light.)

Allow me to recommend taking all four forward as far as you can ... because it would be a shame to kill a femme and promote a big healthy ... male. cn
