It's like the point of the whole story changes in the very last episode of the very last season in the final 15 minutes!

that's so exciting, yet so depressing.

nah that pretty much made perfect sense for the entire show.

I mean common, how the hell else could they have plausibly ended it? in a way that would have actually worked as well as the ending that was actually used.

It was pretty amazing how they tied it all together.

I was stumped tying to figure out where that tangent time line started. It's interesting how they were setting up that one final scene in the whole last season. I loved it.

But yeah man it's way depressing. It really makes me appreciate life though. You look at those you love around you in a different way for sure.

yeah it was pretty depressing.

but it's a part of life . . . I mean that was a very intense representation of it, but yeah . . . . .

Intense is right!

I was so not ready to hear they're all dead. I mean okay it's probably a hundred years later or something on earth but fuck.

I was shocked but pleasantly surprised. as it doesn't really make any sense any other way.

plus I already believe in something like this. I think we go through a DMT trip upon death, which could result in living some weird ass life, or some bliss, or who knows. you wont really know when it will end I think . .. I mean we never know when our dreams are going to end . .. so how would you know when your last hallucination would end.

and then there's something that takes this idea and makes it transcend reality, by saying DMT is a spirit molecule, transferring our 'spirit' into another dimension by amazing chemical means.

either way, lost kind of reminded me of this.

all through the episode I was hoping that the two worlds are going to collide together or something, I remember this time when Jack was fighting Locke for the final time on the island and Locke was trying to kill Jack with his knife, Jack's neck started bleeding and at the same time Jack's neck in the afterlife or whatever-you-call-it started bleeding too.
