Hi guys I'm new to roll it up this will be my first time grow I have some problems deciding on which light to choose I'm kind of stuck between a ViparSpectra par 700 or 315 cmh with phillips 3100 k lamp any help would be great thanks

Until you tell us the grow space size, plant count expected.

I have a 4x4 and planning on 6-8 autos with lst

Metal halide/hps all the way. Lots use 600 in that space but 1000w is optimal.

if going autos then fill the tent. Just have them in separate containers so you can rotate them and remove them from the tent when needed.

So would 1 600 watt hps/mh be better than two 315 cmh I've heard they have better output and spectrum than mh

There's a thread under indoor growing about which LEDs put out the highest wattage & perform the best. If that's what you've decided to go with you should check it out, they've listed just about all of them. Good luck with everything.
