looking to buy a hps light system but know nothing about them please help!!!!!!

im looking to buy a hps system but dont know very much about them. what are some good brands / quality for the money?? does anyone know any good websites?? thanks for the help

thats what i use as well i would say its the best on the market for the price. fast, friendly, and stealthy delivery.

when do you switch them to hps lights during veg ??

Metal halide is for the vegetative growth phase and high pressure sodium is for the flowering growth phase.

If you can afford it purchase a digital model where you can use both metal halide bulbs and high pressure sodium bulbs. If you can only afford a straight high pressure sodium model be sure to purchase a metal halide conversion bulb for vegging. They are not as good as a straight metal halide but it will still be better than using high pressure sodium for vegging.
