Yeah, that's right. My sister Ava Rize wrote that article. As for vegan soils... honestly I use Bio Terra Plus with my vegan system as it works the best. BioTerra Plus has some animal products in it, but is made to work with the Biocanna food. I have a huge thread here on vegan organics. Let me know if you have any questions.
I like Humboldt nutes 0-10-0 for extra Phos source. It is made from soft rock phosphate. Upthearesenal has been working on DIY veganics with success.
My twin sis smokes even more than me now... haha. She didn't start until we were over 20, I kept blowing hits in her face. She got all giggly every time and decided to take it up. I've been hooking her up with full melt bubble for a long time now... her tolerance is ridiculous. I'm supposed to be the toker!
She is writing Kushman's book right now. I'm editing and contributor. My plan is to bring some science into this world of ours.

It would be difficult to live w/o touching, or maybe ingesting something from a cow but a vegan soil recipe should be close to cow free. Does touching a cow or cow product make you a non-vegan?
I honestly can't say ...... my understanding of vegans is probably superficial. I just happened to receive an email with that pic attached whilst reading this post
I seriously have no issues with vegans ... I think they taste great
