Looking for suggestions for first-time autoflower grow

Hello!! My fiance and I are looking to buy some new seeds today. We're both interested in autoflowering strains. Im looking on the Nirvana Shop (pp) and Im thinking about going with Blue Mystic or Jock Horror... both feminized autoflower. Has anyone ever grown either of these strains? If so, overall what'd you think?
And if you havent grown these, what are some suggestions for a good.. generally easy.. autoflower stain to start out with.

All of your comments would be much appreciated.. Thanks guys!

I would avoid nirvana. Seen a good number of threads lately about them not flowering and having to be put on 12/12. World of Seeds and Dinafem have pretty good genetics. Delicious seeds as well. Afgan Kush Ryder is supposed to be a big yielder and is listed at 22% thc. I would check out attitude seeds website.

Easiest would be automaria or Automaria II from Paradise seeds. After 3rd set of true leaves they bud :)

I'm currently growing 3 Afgan Kush Ryder plants and thee buds are huge. I'm about two weeks away from harvest. So my recommendation would be Aggan Kush Ryder from Attitude.

I would say away from Nirvana too. They have a lot of problems with their autos. They were actually release about 2 years ago then pulled because of so many complains about them not autoflowering. They were re-released a few months back and it still seems like people are having issues about them not autoflowering.

I grew automaria II last summer and was very disappointed. The smoke was ok and had a good smell and taste, but the plants were tiny and didn't yield much. Very leafy and fluffy bud too. I ordered them from Attitude during a promo and got a free pack of Paradise Pandora. Pandora, on the other hand was amazing. I'm actually growing it again this year and it is even better this time around. I just started a thread about it if you want to check it out.

Paradise Pandora Outdoor

I've never grown it, but Afghan Kush Ryder from World of Seeds is very popular right now. Most of the reviews and grows I've seen have been pretty impressive.

Any reason why you are looking to do autos instead of a normal photoperiod strain? I only grow them outside.

I know you're not asking me, but after reading about 12/12 from seed, the only reason I like autos is because I can have my micro grow in my bedroom and not have to worry about light leaks.

welllll, iranian autoflower if youve got the cash. technically not an autoflower- they will veg under 24 hours of light but if you lower the lights just to 20 then they will flower. AKR is what I am growing right now, onyx, and mi5 have all good reps. stay away from nirvanna and flash seeds IMO

Think the Jock Horror is supposedly good, I'm growing a short rider myself at the moment( my 1st grow) and so far she looks sweet. Going to try a pineapple express next. Addictive stuff this growing!!!

What overall height do you think your plants will be at harvest?...I'm about to start that strain as well...

I just harvested 2 Super Sour 60 autos today. This was my first attempt at autos. I researched and found these S S 60's
There is so much info out there it's very easy to become confused..I just found some and liked the way they looked and took a gamble and ordered them. Being this is my first time growing autos. I did find this out.Dont believe the hype about harvest times. These were 60 day seeds from sprout to harvest.I still have 2 more that need to be harvested. The 2 I took today were 70 days the other 2 r at least 7 to 10 days out. They were all germinated at the same time. So with that being said pull out the credit card and order something you like. Thats the only way to find out. HAVE FUN!

I would suggest you use Attitude Seed bank. Its here in England (if you are) quick delivery lots of freebies. I have started using autoflowering seeds, its fairly quick. I would say about 2 months. Don't pinch the tops. Found it interesting/helpful what was said about the nutrients. I have started using auto flowers cause in the UK electric is very expensive, so saving a month on my bill is brilliant.

I don't think you're saving energy. If you're growing an auto the life span is around 10-11 weeks. You need to keep the lights at 20/4 or at least the 18/6. A 12/12 from seed photo will finish around the same time give or take 1-2 weeks. All the grows that I'm seeing with people that have good yields(ounce and up) have the plants in for around that time. I'm sure it's possible to grow with 8 weeks, but I haven't seen any decent 60 day grows. https://www.rollitup.org/auto-flowering-strains/531344-autos-life-cycle.html

I have started using auto's recently. Soon going to do 9 of them. In my larger tent. I personally never use a strict counting of days. I just figure it in months and approximate date I put them. I personally don't count the first few days. For me its been deciding and trying figure out a nutrients schedule. I am a newbie too. But have to say I have been really lucky with my all my girls. Once I invested in a grow tent life became so much easier. When I joined the site and called myself Mother Nature, didn't really know all the meaning behind it, just felt right. Seems everything I germinate grows.

My previous post.

They could be ready in two months, but like all plants have patients. Wait for them to swell up.

Would keep away from Automaria II. Its a very entertaining plant to watch as it grows, but its not easy to get a good result from and the weed is not too strong. The classic lowryder is a good choice; easy to grow and good yield. About 3 weeks veg and 50-55 days of flowering in my experience. Pandora from Paradise is said to be "the worlds best autoflower", but havent really heard a lot about it from people growing it. Have two of those in my closet atm, 3 weeks old and already at the 7th pair of leaves, but still no sign of sex, and that is kind of unusual for an auto...

View attachment 2227921Well i wouldn't count Nirvana out, I just got some auto NL about a month ago and mine start autoflowering in weeks. At the 5th node 8 inches high and it already is filled with flowers, so I wouldn't say they are bad maybe I just got lucky.
