Looking for some ideas...

Will be setting up for a medical grow after christmas, for which I annow in the planning stages... I will probably have around 2000$ to make this thing work, and I've been doing a lot of research on different products. Because this will be in my bedroom, noise is definitely going to be an issue with running an HID air-cooled system. I have read great things about the badboy t5's, can anyone confirm this? I could probably do a 4X4 (ish) area for flowering and use 2 of the 8 bulb units, with an additional 2x4 tent for vegging, under another badboy. My other conceivable option is to eliminate the vegging area and put all my money into one tent, say with a 1000w water cooled. Any idea which would be best? Any other ideas come to mind?

I would definitely go with HID, Take a look at Ceramic metal halides, they use a 400w HPS ballast, they are full spectrum (1 bulb veg thru flower) and make less heat than MH or HPS. If I was growing in a smaller area than I am in say a 4x4 area thats what I would go with.

I appreciate the advise, Ive done some looking into the CMH now, and browsed most of the thread at ICMAG, do the CMH run considerably cooler thanan HPS?
