Hello people :-).
My little Auto was a seed on the 6/6 and a tiny seedling on the tenth.. with tiny true leaves. Today is the 17/7 ... I've seen people state Autos begin to bud after 3 to 4 week... Have I misunderstood? Did they start the timer after 3 or 4 nodes when true veg begins..
My plant is getting large and isn't showing signs of flower yet..
Starting to worry it isn't going to auto.. as it seems to have taken a while so far.
Thanks in Advance to any responding helpers ;-)

They vary, some don’t start until week five or six.
Autos are the absolute worst for beginners, sorry to say. And they are aggressively marketed to beginners, it’s a sad state of affairs. Also, you can totally top them and end up with pretty sick yields, but I have ethical opposition to autoflowers, for good reasons I don’t want to type right now, lol.

To be fair Veg is going well. Though there should only be a month left... is that enough time for flowering?
I will probably try photo plants next time...
I don't need to drop to 12/12 With an Auto do I?

My cat had a chew of her when she was a sprout with true leaves.. she recovered, Do you think this could have delayed her? There are new shoots developing still, I've trained a few up to the canopy and they are developing too...
So do I wait... or try 12 12.. I don't want to ruin her yield but I don't want her out growing the small tent either ;-/

Just an update on the same plant. She has been rather hot and didn't get a very good start in life.. but this is her... How far of do you think she is? It's looking like she has finished swelling to me.. hardly at all but I think that's due to the hot weather. Any input would be appreciated... still growing.. chop her down... what do you guys recommend?

Considering it's been 20 days since your lasr post alone I can say that it's not done. Also no expert here but your leaves look quite stressed. How hot has it been in your tent?

Im a noob I started at the wrong time. 28+ I've caught it at 32°c I knew it was hot... just nothing I could do.

That's hot but it should rebound alright. Were thees pics taken when heat stressed? Also you may want to look into air extraction. What kind of ventilation or light setup are you running? Any way to artificially lower temps

300 watt CFL warm. But a 200 dual CFL has been on veg next to it with another plant just flowering now. I would of needed air con which I don't have. The house has been 28°c at night sometimes. Due to the heat the tent and room windows are open while lights are on. Bad time of year to start with no air con.
I'm pleased you think that she could recover. It's a cooler 24° now and due to drop.

I have 2 little fans in the tent with 4 inch filter and fan (2 settings more than I need for filter... plenty of negative pressure when the tent is closed... which it hasn't been due to temp

She is due in a week according to the calendar. Does that sound correct to you? She is an Auto. 6/6 was a seed.

Don't follow a calendar. Use it as a guideline and follow the buds. Plenty of posts here to tell you optimal time to harvest.
