Hey Airwalker, in a closet, but i put white foam board around the sides because ALOT of light hits the back wall, because i have about foot from back wall, and 3 ft from scrog to closet door. The PAR does gain alot when i do this, but it traps heat to much for my liking. at full max 300 watts, center i get 652PAR (717 with 10% added) * i add 10% from value, because that is the real difference from the apogee 500 my research found with LEDs.This is center, 20 inches from light to scrog net.these are 38 days from seed, in crap 3 inch deep pots but wideish. I have super-root air pots on the way.. these also went thru a experiment of 6 on/10off for the first 28 days or so, dumb experiment, and decided to save the plants and went to 12/12 now.
thye actually look pretty good considering what they went thru, lol. and last night the temp got down to 50, so they arnt to happy today. plus i let them dry out, and they didnt like that either, LOL..

Ya, you don't want lenses in there. Simple as that. Only reason you use them is if you're in a wide open area and you want to keep the light from falling off into the void. As long as you've got a reflective wall surrounding your setup, the photons will bounce back and be used.
I ordered the lil angelinas reflectors. those will help tremendously. seems i can get a nice 40% boost from them, and my cobs are 13inches apart, so at 18 inches i should easily hit the 1000 PAR im trying to get to. I just want to eliminate the foam boards too, and might put in my perfect sun mini for side lighting. But i also have a sequoia Shipwreck seedling that is starting to grow. That is some prize genetics i have to keep for my collection.
