Mr hyde me and you think alike, what is this soil looks like something you dug up from your backyard.

The soil Is some that I had gotten from my boss lol I don't know anything about it really tbh it has some soft foamy things in it an some other stuff that looks like bark almost I know I put some egg shells in it for that has helped me in the past any suggestions

Water that girl with an eyedropper the next 5 days.

Lookin good. 'Lil chunks don't mean anything.

That 'round' or 'tear shaped' leaf is a cotelydon leaf= it is actually part of the plant when it forms in the seed
It falls off naturally, so don't worry too much about that.

Advise and mentorship.
Read as much as you can.
Then, when you do ask questions, it will be obvious you're a serious student of growing
You'll have a selection of willing mentors.

At some point PM one.

That's what I did.

I'm sure that, some days, he must regret ever answering that first post or PM
because I have pestered the hell out of him.

But he's an experienced grower and an articulate teacher
and he's taught me LOADS!

Good luck
You're already doing everything correctly
(with regards to cultivating friends).

That's not good.
The medium you grow in is UBER-IMPORTANT
and you really should know all there is to know about it.

Just read some o these guys posts
They obsess about the smallest detail of soil composition - for good reason.

Thanks north of England that's great advice I will certainly take it an suggestions on where to get some good soil? Also like I said before don't have much for it or money to spend really light source is kinda low im sure
