Hi I was just wondering if I could run only 2 cobs instead of 3 on this driver. Its a 1800ma driver rated at 200w and is designed for 3 cxb3590. I know leaving this much space on driver isn't ideal but I'm planning on to add the 3rd cob wen I find my other adapter plate to suit my iceled heatsink.wich will be within a few days wen I go to my storage area at a friends

It will work. Efficiency on the driver will drop a few points but there's nothing technically wrong doing it. The driver will actually run cooler, slightly higher percentage of waste heat from much less wattage.

So being that the combined forward voltage of 2x 36v cobs Is 72v, and the drivers minimum forward voltage is 76 v. Will this definitely work? If not I can probly find a way to mount this 3rd cob

Hmm, not sure how to explain that one but the minimum voltage is 67 unless I'm dyslexic.

Well @Rahz , at that low amperage it's obviously lower than 33.5fV then eh? Although 1800mA isn't that low.... but you must have some luck of the draw cobs that have a lot lower fV than the norm.
