I got the thing builtI just don't know what I need to do :S
The water has 0 nutes in it
I don't have a basket for growing in

dude with all respect how do you expect to grow a plant with no nuts and no net cup read read and read some more all the answers are out ther we cant spoon feed you youll have to read like the rest of us
about 2 weeks maybe 3 weeks
I've read and read and I don't have any baskets because like I sayed I threw a DWC together and I've looked to see if I can use nutes that I use for soil (20-20-20) and flowering food for DWC and asked and I haven't gotten any answers or I wouldn't be asking them on here

sorry dude i would help , but i wouldn't consider myself and expert on nute. but i do know that you dont wanna use soil nutes on hydro systems.
I also know you dont need nutes for the first weeks too.
here's what i'm using now with my Aerogarden"
general hydroponics- maxigro 10-5-14 (veg nutes)
general hydroponics- maxibloom 5- 15-14 (flower nutes)
i also think it is suppose to be good to drop your nitrogen level when choosing a flowering nute.

2-3 weeks without nutes should be fine start them on a weak dose first probabily 1/4 strenth of the lable and work up to half next res change then go full the change after good luck n happy growin
haha ok thanks so you think I should start to use nutes in my water?
