Looking for cheap strain...The church?

I'm pretty broke right now, but would like to do a little better than the bagseeds I've collected over the years. I'm looking at a 5 pack of "the church" by greenhouse seeds. It sounds pretty good, but I've heard it has a low germ rate.

Any other cheap suggestions? Something from nirvana maybe? I'm doing an indoor soil sog grow. Height is an issue, but I can always LST. I'm looking for a more social type high, that's what makes the church appealing to me.

chech out the youtube vids about the church, this is a swiss sativa x skunk x super skunk x northern lights. great high, great smell, decent thc content and should grow rather short. i have the church growing and have no complaints, indica dominant and if grown right it looks great. late

I have dialup, it takes way too long for me to load any videos. Your description sounds great though. Any germination problems? I'm looking for a quality strain for cheap, and the only negative I've seen on the church is some complaints about low germ rates. Thanks

They had a bad batch of the church which gave it some negative rep for a while. GHS pulled that batch from inventory and thats why it said "sold out" for the past few months.

Great strain!! and GHS did the right thing by pulling it and putting a more stable strain on the shelf.

i dunno about the seeds because i get my strain from clones, but i do know that this strain is one of the few strains out there that is mold resistant. i grow a perpetual SOG with small plants but large 1 ounce nugs, mold can become a prob when you have large colas so this is a great strain for me.

Money being the problem get a feminized seed or two from Pick 'n Mix, then you can pick whatever strain you want.

Hobbes, I'd love to do picknmix, but they don't ship to US. I know attitude has it as well, but I don't want to spend half my budget on shipping. I'll be ordering from seed boutique.

Howard check out Peak, $40 USD including delivery for a 10 pack or 20 mixed seeds. Great genetics, I'm flowering 4 of their strains now - easy to grow, compact, good producers, covered in trichs. Church is pretty good too ... I guess.

Seriously though, peak does look like a pretty good company. I did a little research on them. I can't find a ton of info, but what I did find sounded pretty good.

Stay away from Nirvana. Garbage.

Take cuttings for your outdoor grow this spring or another indoor grow. Its that good. imho..

Ok, you guys have convinced me to get the church. Any advice for growing that strain? I saw where someone said they had trouble cloning, but I'm unsure of how experienced a grower they were. I'm a newb so any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I ordered The Church and AMS from seedboutique about 6 weeks ago.My Church arrived but not my AMS.When I e-mailed seedboutique,they said I had to wait 10 weeks to see if the package was sent back to them.I received nothing from Customs and I won't order from seedboutique until this is resolved.I did order from Attitude and I paid $20 for the extra shipping.My package arrived in 10 days to U.S.(Deep south)....It is worth it to pay a little extra for guaranteed shipping.Also,I am not happy that seedboutique sent the Church and shortly after it was out of stock.A bad batch of the Church was supposed to have been pulled.I hope my beens are viable.I have not germed them yet.I don't expect them to ship me AMS anytime soon.I feel like I got ripped.Attitude seems trustworthy and it is worth $20 for guaranteed shipping.....
