Looking at Trichs from digi photos?

Can a digi photo be used to tell trich color? I have a 5MP Canon. I got some good shots of the top bud. You can see all the trichs when zoomed in.

Is this an accurate way to tell the color?

Last 2 pics are from 2 diff. spots on the last close up to show the diff. trich. colors.

I was messin with photoshop. Been years since I played around in there.
 
Only 4 weeks into 12/12!!

Flowers started about 9-14 days of 12/12.

I believe it is sativa dom.

I don't want couch lock!

I just love seeing frosty bud, im not used to it down here we dont get much frosty trichominess. It's a crapshoot and im not quite ready to grow. That just looks awesome!
