wat the heck is this? praying mantis or somethin! never heard of it bringing u good luck, its gonna shite all over ur plants probably! maybe its his little bush and he keeps it safe for u.
 
Nice I need about ten of them for pets I have a huge empty fish tank...Now that my Scorpions have died:cry: :cry:
I think I will go out to the field later and look for some. Wish me luck they are hard to find in the grass..
 
Cool, I have one that lives in my garden outside. They are neat creatures. Like you said they pop out for a visit to say "hello" if you are close. Too cool.

find a nearby fan leaf and lightly mist it for him. he will drink it like a dog. my wife says it's the cutest thing. i think they are rather cool. they do need water though.
 
Thats awesome. He'll also eat any bad bugs on your plants. I watched a mantis once MASSACRE a big spider. Those things are BADASSS

lucky it wasnt a grasshopper though, or else it woulda had your plant for dinner.

What makes you think this one is male? If more than 60 mm length, this is a FEMALE! (like your plants, i hope)

Nope, how would I do that? Are there any differences that I need to know about? Are they like female women? Is she going to just complicate things and cry all the time? Just kidding ladies....please don't hurt me:-|
 
I had a couple of mantis in my terrarium, nice to watch..., until the ladies ate the guys.... (adult female mantis grow up to 75 mm, male up to 60 mm)

i guess i could put out a playgirl or a playboy it see which one he or she picks, are there gays in the insect world? I will reward it, if it's a guy I gotta keep it.
 
i'm pretty sure the females eat the males after mating. be careful where you put your paws. heheheheeheheh
 
yaw mantis's are dope the grow shop i go to sells em along with ladybugs...actually i need to go get some L-bugs...stupied fuckin gnats..
