for some reason the hairs are not retracting, but the trichs are all cloudy and now starting to amber. I dont want to much amber. Should i just take her down?IMG00115-20110923-1830.jpg

idk, most of pistils still look white and long so i would say no, but if the trichromes are cloudy then that is the best judge. Might just be the strain keeps throwing out new pistils

How long has it been in flowering?

Well i would say you could give it another week but if you are worried about it getting too much amber then go ahead and chop.
Did you use a magnification to look at trichromes?

yeah, used magnification. There are no clear trichs. They are all cloudy and starting to turn amber, but like you said, there is still alot of long white pistils. I was thinking it needed longer, but when i looked at trichs, i thought different. I guess an early harvest is better than a late harvest, uh right?

Mmmmm well plenty of people would say to wait longer as the buds might fill out/get more dense.

However i like up highs so if they are all cloudy chop away. Do you have more than one plant? If you do chop one now and one in a week or two and compare the difference for future reference :P
