Longer veg time....

Does a longer veg time guarantee a bigger yield? I usually do 6 plants at a time, vegging for 4 weeks, this grow I decided to do 4 plants but two didn't work so I've vegged the two remaining plants for 9 weeks, i fimmed them once and topped them 2 weeks ago - they're about 27 inches tall. I've never got big yields (about 6oz the last grow) so on average 1oz a plant...... Should I expect more per plant this time?

In general, a bigger plant means a bigger yield. However, with indoor grows it has to do with effective use of your light canopy. You want to use LST and other training techniques to effectively fill the light canopy, because growing in a traditional "christmas tree" style will only help you so much. A 1000w HPS will "penetrate" about 2 ft down, so if your plant is taller than that the bottom budsites will likely be little more than popcorn. So grow em big but make sure you tie her down.

Honestly couldn't have said it better myself.
