Longer veg cycle after topping?

I was just wondering if I needed to have a longer veg cycle after topping my plant? I'm doing 8 weeks veg and I topped 1 1/2 weeks prior to the 12/12 switch. Should I let it veg longer or is it good to flower?

has she been growing since you topped her? ...if so, yup she can go anytime you like!

Yeah, it slowed down for a couple days but it's back to normal. Both nodes have 2 little sets growing out of them right now. I think I'm going to keep it vegging for another week before I start it's flower cycle.

sounds about right... nice to see your learning to pay attention to her/them. observe and learn is the best, she will tell you lots... just listen

maybe it just me but, even though i'm outdoor, when i topped my plants it seemed it grew that V shape really fast. I was amazed. I don't remember seeing it grow (seriously). it was like one day i cut it and a short time later, i noticed it seemed taller but with this V.

what are your suggestions for topping outside; as far as timing? i want my plant to veg more but not sure exactly sure when i should top the arms of the plant...should I plan 2 weeks before the end of the heat wave in September? (if we have one ) LA hasn't had a really hot summer in years...more like select hot weeks.
