Long time reader, first time poster. Help!

So I went throught the stickies, and some of the pics are hard to make out. I couldn't put my finger on the problem by comparing.

This is my second time growing this strain (Purple #1) Although, this one is a clone that has been topped.

At first I thought I was over feeding. So I cut down to only using nutes once every 1.5-2 weeks. The water here is PH balanced. I'm using Calmag Plus (2-0-0) and PureBlend Pro (2.5-2-5) both from Botanicare.

So here are some pics.

Any help is appreciated. And take it easy on me, this is my second grow..

It is stretched. big time.

I'm using a 250W HPS, and it's planted in promix.

I'm flushing right now. Anything else I can do?

Definatly lower the light - if you've only got a HPS, i'd condcider putting some white/blue "cool" spectrum CFLS in there for veg to try and stop it stretching.

The tighter the ineternodal space, the better the harvest, the better the bud.

unfortunately, the plant is so streched that it is almost touching the light now. so I can't lower it anymore. I have a seperate space dedicated specifically for veg. the lights are nice and close for the babies.

The leaves are getting worse and worse. I'm getting desperate here. All nutes are definitely flushed out now... but no change. Albeit, the cola's are looking fine.

I have two other plants beside this one that are looking mighty healthy. nice and close to the light.

To see my nutes, check my first post.

I have the same thing happening to my plants, exact same leaf buring. My stems are purple and leaves are going very lime green/pale yellow. I thought it was nute burn as well, so I flushed. The burning on the leaves continued and the plant started turing lime green, especially new growth, and the stems went pruple. I gave the plants 9 days w/o nutes and everything got worse!
So now I am pretty sure its nute deficiency. I added nutes 24 hrs ago and have yet to see any change.
I am interested to see if your leaves go flouscent green/pale yellowish. Let us know.

Things have not gotten any better. I'm going back to nutes. Let's see what happens.

Attycus,

I've had similar problems and had two solutions.

How much water did you flush with? Was it all at once or over time?
1. I corrected it by flushing with lots and lots of water at once. For a 3L pot, I used 5-6L.

Any accidental spraying or mishaps?
2. Nutrient rich water was splashed/sprayed onto the plant causing the leaves to burn

curious to hear more

They don't have any P or K!!!! I can almost guarantee it. Too late now, but next time try giving your plants the nutrients they need to grow big and strong.

I flushed over time. I will try flushing it big time tonight.

I've never put nuts in my squirt bottle.

As it stands right now. This plant is going down the tube.

Ohhh Sooo ONLY nutrient rich water would cause burning????

So if I had a pure RO water and sprayed all my plants with the lights on they would be just fine?

NO!!! The whole point to not foliar feeding with lights on is because of the water droplets. Under a light droplets work like a magnifying glass, causing burn spots. Not nutrient burn, but actual burn spots!

They are gonna die big time tonight. Thanks for listening to my advice! Your fault.

This plant did get P and K.

Chill out.

I flushed with 4 litres. They just went to sleep, so I'll post tomorrow if there's a difference in this lanky mofugga's condition.

I also only spray my plants just before they go to sleep. no light, no burn.

Really, well it wasn't enough. Read into K deficiency and you might go, oh shit!

it looks too late... i would just start fresh... remember when vegging the lights shouldn't be to high or they will stretch for the light. Keep em nice and low and you'll get short stalky strong plants with wicked bud formation...
