PS hope you don't have thin skin, sarcasm Is lost on forums and you'll spot a few trolls lol

Also don't post the same questions in different threads all over the site, if you click new posts up top you can see how much it clogs shit up.

Not saying you do but it's a common thing :/

Week 3 strip. I’ll post a pic from today to show the difference. We call growers here that don’t strip lazy. Last strip took me and the wife over 6 hrs. Most grower would never do that, they are still on the it’s just weed kick. I harvest 100% usable product vs buds that aren’t well developed due to no light penetration. But what do I know I’ve only been growing since 2000.

As you can see I miss a few also. But stripping all these leaves can be a pain in the ass

Cheers @projectinfo Havn't figured out quotes or anything yet lol but ill get round to that. Will check out LEDgardner too. Ended up in hospital Fri/Sat unexpectedly but all is well now. Greatfull and proud of the public healthcare in the UK to be better already. While its ac.

Sarcasm seems to be a lost art. Lost somewhere between memes and twitter. People with too much time and too many emotions.

Very nice Example @DirtyEyeball696 Looking nice and airy. I could for sure get away with more stripping on my gardens in the future.

I agree that different styles work for different Growers/ rooms/strains but I feel the opposite about leaf stripping after many tests. I am a little hurt by your comment about the just weed kick. This is my life and I mean I wouldn’t be anything but completely disabled without it from congenital disorders. My flowers have also cured Mrs. mmg’s internal cysts with no other medical treatment after a lifetime of illness and female issues.

This warlock / Jack Herrer mix hybrid is very potent and balanced and yielded 7.2 oz. in a 3 gallon nursery pot of soil. It went 12.5 weeks before chop and was grown to be green to the end. I could barely keep up with her. She kept going k deficient. I like to taper down down nutrient concentration through ripening for nice tasting buds.

Your nice grow prompted me to post this

Thanks for the compliment, for me I didn’t strip for years besides plucking bigger fan leaves. For the past 2 years or so I slowly changed after experimenting after seeing other growers successful results. It is a pain in the ass though. Countless hours of removing leaves can leave you drained depending on the size of your grow or if you have back pain. It does make a tremendous difference I promise. In the end if your happy with all those leaves blocking light to your buds then I’m happy for ya. I’ll keep posting pictures with contradicting results. Thanks

Buds don’t grow only from direct light. They grow from the photosynthesis of the leaves mostly. Why do you think an underfed plant canabalizes itself?

If you used to pluck large fan leaves you are not comparing a healthy plant and a stripped one.

I am saying I leave all the leaves. Some plants still have the original singles from sprout.

But I do keep my plants 30” tall at most with training. So light penetration is complete to the bottom of the pot regardless of leaves with the 600’s.

Many times in packed rooms airflow is the problem with the lower buds. Not light on them.

There is some truth in that, the plant can't do shit with the other nutrients unless it has access to CO2.

I was taught that pruning like lollipop or even de leafing was to increase airflow and is done specially for each specific room to maximize production.

It’s not a technique to tell others to just automatically do. It slows plant growth.

I have always said it is strain dependent. I still need to defoliate my biggest plant, I let the top get a little wild. It is pretty well lollipoped the first foot or so from the bottom.
It will definitely add a few days. I was so long in veg though it doesn't matter any longer.
