Long time grower seeking some mite info

Im not new to this i have a few full cycles under my belt so let me just cut to the chase. Ive always started from seeds and ive never had an issue always grown indoors same room 2nd tent both came new thought id try some clones and this is why i try not to think.!!! So i have mites 3 1/2 weeks in to veg. Yes veg!!! I have seen em very small webbing so that's established im on a 18/6 cycle im going to use a soap type product given to me by a very trusted shop owner so im using this. But im open to feed back question is my lights go off at 11am while im at work says to spray 15 min before lights out should i just kill the lights spray and start lights on on the next normal time or wait a week till sunday morning i need to hit em hard right now i dont wanna be dealing with these going in to flower. Any ideas or suggestions??

What’s wrong with the product directions? Seems pretty clear.

Likely also says to donit multiple times over a week or something eh?

The repeat sprays are to get any stray bugs or remaining eggs.

Preventative measures in the future may work much better.

I never bring in outside plants and I change my clothes and wash before entering my rooms every time.

Don’t bring them in and they don’t usually show up. I have gone 4 plus years with he same kit and have not had an infection. It is almost always the Growers fault.

I spray neem oil weekly in veg and never bring foreign clones into my grow, and keep my grow area clean. Haven't had a mite in years. Here in Oregon mites are a big problem. I fought those demons for years. Preventive measures are the best defense.

Yes I am completely aware of all the quarantining and things of that nature but that's not the question I was asking what I asked was would it be detrimental if I just cut their lights off in the middle of their 18-hour cycle and spray them down or leave the lights on and spray them down but raise the lights all the way up so it's not so strong? Using leds

I think i understand.
You are in veg and are not going to be around during normal lights out.

I would go ahead and interrupt the light cycle so I could spray, then just resume my normal light cycle as you suggested.

Keep in mind i don't use leds so I cant say for sure but with my hid I would definitely shut them off.

I guess i would add that maybe you can just shut them off for a few hours instead of a whole cycle.
Probably what I would do

However, im afraid if you are seeing webbing you have a bad infestation

You have to break the breeding cycle
By treating multiple times.

I also don't recommend relying on a single product.

You need to stomp these pricks out or they will hide and you will see them again in flower. Much worse.

But Im sure you have already gotten that info from your grow store buddy

If you just have a plant or two its not as bad, if you have a room stuffed full

Turn of most your lighting and raise up the one that's on and spray put lighting back the next day if that can work,I like the soap idea that's all I would use

That's what I was looking for so I went to a single t5 light sprayed and went back to led when dryed imma wait a few days and spray again then in a week spray a third time for any eggs

Spray neem oil every 3 days for 9 days and they will be gone. 2 tsp neem, 1/3 tsp dish soap and 1 liter warm water.

Ok so here's where I'm at with this I went with the soap method I completely soaked drenched in sprayed the heck out of my plants free full days sprayed again completely all over underneath the leaves on top spray the walls the planters damn near spray the lights don't have any signs of them but just to be safe I sprayed 3 days later just to get any eggs or what not so I thought I had completely got rid of them so I did a little light trimmings and the next day low and behold they wear everywhere worse than when I started wow so this time I sprayed and added about I don't know two or three hundred ladybugs complete catastrophe here let me tell you but after about a hundred or two of them died off they got under control I have come to the realization that once you got them in your crops they ain't going anywhere so it's better just to keep them at a bare minimum and hope for the best but I do have them at Bay I mean I see one here there no webbing and the ladybug seem to enjoy them so I just keep the fans blowing the ladybugs thriving and I spray every once in awhile when the ladybugs start to die off it seems to have no effect whatsoever on my girls so far I know I will be doing a thorough cleaning and growing from seed from now on if I do take a clone I will definitely have to put it in a quarantine

Lady bugs are next to useless with spider mites. Lace wings are better. Eggs hatch in a few days. The larvae are killers.

What soap?
Bronners Peppermint oil soap multiple sizes at any grocery store $5 to 12 or Ivory dish soap. $2.87 Wal Mart

I would also get some Lavendar essential oil about $4.87 a ounce at Wal Mart. Piping Rock.com has better deals. 6 to 8 drops per gallon of water. Spray under the leaves, the walls, floor around the pots.

You can also buy Canola oil at any store for about $1 to 1.99 and add half a teaspoon to a gallon of water with the other stuff. Shake well at all times. Spray under the leaves.

Um... what? I'm not making popcorn or washing dishes here hahaha and those are not soaps those are detergents big no no makes the end product taste like dish detergent. Is a insecticidal spray soap real soap with insecticide mixed in kills on contact and makes em stick where they are they either die from the poison or they starve and lace wigs arnt those pincher bugs?? Lady bugs work freaking awesome oh the brand I use is safer brand I love it works great but if u use lady bugs let them die off before u spray they are bugs too and will die
