lollipop shock?

I have some indica that is in the 9th week of flowering with no sign of amber trichomes (seems close to 100% cloudy at this point) but at least half the hairs are brown and most fan leaves are all yellow, its aurora indica under 400w HPS in a soil pot in my closet. It is from seed and is supposed to take 8 weeks to flower according to nirvana. I read some stuff about lollipopping so i took away some lower branches a couple weeks in hoping the higher nugs would develop more.

I am assuming that this will shock the plant and it will take a few days to recover, maybe? Is this what is making them take so long to get some amber trichs?

i read that more amber = couch-lock, especially with this specific strain... I'm not sure I need that in this point in my life as I both need to smoke all day :weed: AND get shit done so do you think with the trichs being just about all cloudy it will be ok to chop down?

I am sorta impatient because this is F'ing with my schedule and i need the space!

sorry about the crap iPhone pics, hoping it will give you an idea about the state of the plant tho. Also there are a couple that are only in their 3rd week of flowering you can see in the background -pls dont take those into account =).
thanks guys

if they are 100% cloudy and the buds looks nice to you, chop it if you need to man. Its hard to tell from the pics, but it looks pretty good. happy smoking.
