Little Peyote Sprouts

maybe get them used to brighter light by setting them outside a few hours a day, followed by a cool cellar type evening..leaving the dome on for a bit during this, gradually decreasing its use over a few weeks?

Thanks for the replies guys !! :-) I guess i will do the same as I did with my S.Pedro seedlings a decade ago. Once they got about 3 months old, I kept increasing the amount of time they spent in natural air, uncovered. They did just fine, so i'm hoping the L.W. will also...

I would assume they will be similar to slow SP seedlings. I have a friend who is growing them I'll ask him how he handled hardening them off as babies if I can get a hold of him...

Hmm... I wish I knew the first thing about grafting. Only 5 of my 30 seeds sprouted, and I don't want to fudge anything up by trying to do anything to them. I love the peri + peyote idea, but just don't want to lose any of the precious seedlings. I will begin to harden them off in a few more weeks, then place them in moderate light / shade. They are far enough apart to where I can grow them nearly baseball sized without having to transplant. It's a Shame only 5 sprouted... was hoping to have a garden of them >

Yeah rory420 , I find it nice to stop toking for a bit and let the tolerance drop way down. Then pack a huge bowl and get catatonic >bongsmilie Of course, the other alternative is to just smoke some better bud !

Those are sooooo darling!!! Wish I had done that, germination rate seeems kinda low. Grafting? Since I saw thosee lophoria grafted, I got a bug. I picked up a grafted tomato and now am looking into grafting them myself.

grafting is way easy. be sterile, and follow the rules, and you'll be fine.
My only problem is I only have 5 seedlings and can't chance a failed grafting attempt. I was thinking that peyote produces pups, so I could eventually have a little garden. If I grow them naturally, can I harvest in 3 yrs or so? When does peyote produce pups? If I do it correctly, can 5 cacti eventually turn into a small garden? I'm only interested in enough medicine for 2 people, so I would like to have 10-12 peyote cacti. Any thoughts on all this?

A while back, I read somewhere that a cactus called "Sunami" contains more mescaline than peyote but Is very rare (and probably picky about its' growing environment). Anyone heard of this cactus?
