Literally dropped pot ... and plant fell out ... am i scrwed?

yesterday i was moving the plant from a surface that had runoff water and something happend that made me drop the pot...

the whole plant which is about 4 inches fell face first on the ground. i managed to put it back in, pack some dirt around the sides ... and sat back and watched to see if it died. now its 2 days later and it doesnt seem to be dying but doesnt seem to be growing either. i figure its repairing. does anyone know if it still might die on me? at the least ... is it stunned and possibly halted in its track for a while until its repaired itself internally. how long till its back on track?

I have dropped tons of pots lol, at most it may have stunted growth, but unless you really messed up the roots I think it will be alright.

it just was in shock. it haults its grow cycle for a bit then it will be back on track.

You could whack a plant with a tennis racket and it would be twice as big the next week. A branch can be hanging on by a thread and still come back twice as strong. If you think dropping your plant face first onto the ground was exciting, you should try Supercropping.

ya my buddy kicks the buckets over to purposly put them in shock when there around 2-3 ft. his plants always grew heathly and strong to .

Whenever I tip over or drop a pot the only thing that I'm pissed about is having to clean up the mess, because the plant will be fine and in most instances come back stronger. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you

wow originally i thought i had murdered my plant ... now people are telling me i can hit the thing with a tennis racket and its good for it!? awsome! Awsome! AWSOME! thanks for all the help people!

Ya it should be ok I just hacked mine up n transferee from fox farm ocean forest soil, to a completely different hydro dwc setup. And I had new growth in days.. These plants amaze me!

I did the same thing but to a flowering plant, anyways I put her back In instantly but cracked a branch.....
Splinted it and foliar fed her water I really think she's gonna be ok!!!! Also I used ALoT of perlite and I think that will help the plant re establish it's roots

i dropped my girl today and the main stem was bent a lil so i bent it to make it stand up straight. it wasnt bent like in an "L" shape, just tilted towards the side. do you think she will be alright? and i wondered if you touch the buds too much , will they stop growing or if the hairs get bent. im at 7.5 weeks flowering and she has been overwatered a lil bit too. also added Hydrogen peroxide and will let her dry up for a lil while. a few leaves have been pinched off due to them being cut in half. hope the yield and bud growth isnt slowed down TOO much. good post btw. peace.

This is good info! Woke up this morning finding that my plant face down, dirt all over. Picked it up and put the dirt back in, hopefully it'll come back.

Fuck it...this is old as shit but I'd like to chime in. About a week ago I was moving things around in my garage and dropped a 2x2 on one of my newish clones in a solo cup...it shredded one half of the leaves off and busted the cup open and almost all the dirt came out...I thought the plant was fucked...but it's still good.

Even though it may be old as shit, asked about 100000 times, a different point of view is allways important. You never know who will read your post

Even tho it’s 10 years later still fuck it..... I was moving my plant back inside my 2x2 grow tent when I goofed up and dropped it face first from about 3 feet this is my first grow and it’s the SECOND time I’ve dropped the plant already. I hope it’s okay the time. Regards

Fuck me, i have 32 beautiful babies and i dropped 1 of them face down from about 3 feet on top of 3 others. Some branches took some painful damage. I put some tape on them and hop they will be allright. This thread is reassuring though.
