Anybody used liquid oxygen? am using a 20ltr nft system and this is the first time i have used liquid oxygen. Just wondering if anybody has used it before and if it made any difference to your grow
cheers

Its by Growth Technology - Liquid Oxygen
Liquid Oxygen – the well known cleansing and oxygenating agent for hydroponic systems
Liquid Oxygen contains hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) which is a highly unstable molecule. It will quickly break down in the nutrient tank releasing a free atom of oxygen. This oxygen atom is extremely reactive and will attach itself to either another atom, forming a stable oxygen molecule, or attack a nearby organic molecule, such as a virus or fungal spore. Liquid Oxygen can eliminate existing diseases and help to prevent future ones.
A daily addition of Liquid Oxygen to the nutrient tank will invigorate the plant and increase nutrient uptake, leading to faster growth rates. In plants the extra oxygen provided will massively stimulate protein production at the cellular level. This will greatly enhance the photosynthetic process, leading to bushier plants with larger leaves, thicker stems and shorter internodes. Plants will be stronger and leaves will be darker, thus collecting light with greater efficiency and further improving photosynthetic response.
so was wondering if anyone has used it and if it does what it says on the tin
its easy for me as grow shop only minutes away and its only £10 a ltr and i wouldnt no were to get h202 other than grow shop
Wow some really off information here...
H202 (liquid oxygen) from a hydro store is 30% peroxide, and yes it will melt skin. You are supposed to wear gloves when adding it to the res, it says so right on the bottle. There are several brands out there, and they don't cost that much (8-10 bucks), definitely more expensive than the $1 bottle of 3% peroxide sold at any grocery/pharmacy store. The 3% is effective for foliar spray, in fact it's recommended, but adding 3% to a res is totally ineffective. It will break down in minutes and won't effectively kill all bacteria in a res because it's already so dilute. It also won't add much oxygen to your water. If your interested in killing pathogens/bacteria in your water, or you want to increase your oxygen levels then go with the 30% sold at hydro stores. And don't buy anything that's over $10 a bottle, I've seen some go for as much as $30 at one ripoff hydro store, and of course that was the only brand of 30% peroxide that they carried.
The best ways of increasing oxygen in your water levels are: keep water temp down (lower temp=more oxygen molecules can be stored in the water) and add an airstone or two. h202 is pretty ineffective for anything other than killing/controlling bacteria and water based pathogens imo.
That's not too terrible of a price. Here in the states you can buy H2O2 at all pharmacies, and all grocery stores - it's a really common first aid treatment and used for cleaning and sanitizing. Problem with shopping at grocery stores is that you'll generally find low H2O2 solutions - like 3%. Might be worth checking a pharmacy if you are interested in price shopping.
shame i dont live in the states lol like i say dude the extra i spend on it at the grow shop i would spend more in fuel goin to pharmacy or the grocery store
