Limp Plant! Help!

Hey guys,

so its been 7 days since I planted my 5 fem seeds into all mix soil, an have yet to only see one properly sprout and grow (that one however looks to
be strong and gets bigger every day). another 2 have decided to surface swell but they are both limp, and havent seemed to want to grow any further
for afew days now. I think I may have something to do with the heat as its pretty hot here atm, around 83F in the grow tent with the fan on. will be getting an air conditioner today to sort that problem out. I've watered them a correct amount as far as I know as one of them has grown pretty good from it, I just wanted to know if anyone might know why the others are falling behind? Heres a picture of one of the limp ones, Thanks

It's not the temps at 83.

Just be patient bro! The easist thing for you to do at this time is to kill them by over watering, so just be patient bro!

Germinating seedlings are hard to water correctly. Here's what I do with good results.

Always pre wet the soil before putting the seed in. Put some in a bucket and add water till it's good and damp. Not soggy. You should not be able to squeeze water out. Pack firmly your grow cup. I leave the soil down about 1.5" from the lip so that I can top it off with more soil after plant gets a few inches tall, and bury the stem a bit as I always got a bit of stretch that can be firmed up by topping off and burying the stretch.

I use clear solo cup so I can monitor root development, great help to let you repot at the exact right time. Stack up about 5 and get a phillips screwdriver hot over a flame and burn 4 holes through the buttom of all 5 at once, pretty slick and fact. Then I put the clear cup inside a red solo cup to block the light. Then make a hole with a pencil tip about 1/4" deep, drop in your seed, cover it up. I never pre-germinate seed, they are just as warm and damp as a paper towel and zero chance to screw up.

Then give the surface about 3 good squirts of water with a spray bottle. Keep an eye on them, and whenever the surface gets dry give em a couple more squirts, I try to guestimate the squirts to where I think I've applied enough water to wet the to 1/4" or so. Mine sit in a warm sunny window with A couple CFL's on them so I have to squirt them maybe 3 times a day. Once they emerge, I continue to water with a sprayer for maybe a week, the bigger they get, the more squirts they get.

Using the clear cup is also a great help in monitoring soil moisture, you can see the moisture inside the cup as droplets or fog, when it's no longer visable time to water!

You may wanna create some type of humid environment for them that usually works for me when I have stubborn girls.
