So currently have a DWC setup and it seems I am wasting space atm in the tent. Next round will be a SOG with an HPS but thats still about 3 months out.
Question would be though, does anyone know of an auto watering system? I like the hydro in terms of the oxygenated water and PH control. But I miss the forgivingness of soil and I can utilize the space much better doing a SOG.
WELL! What I was thinking is this, I have my water pump still and tubing/connectors are incredibly cheap. I was going to have my res still like a 20 gallon one with bubbles still running and the water pump in there. But what would happen is the pump which would be on a timer would automatically turn on and trickle water to the 32 plants for like 5 minutes every 2ish days. Would it really be as simple as that? It seems too simple and easy but I cant see a problem with it O.O
