lights!

i was woundering about the heat that come from the lights and the ballasts, if i ran the ballases out side the room wouldnt that keep the heat down alot?

um, not totally sure what your asking, but yes i think so. the ballast does retain a lot of heat, and managing to keep it out of the room (by which i would assume you mean tent) would reduce the heat pretty considerably.

The ballast does omit heat and it would be wise to place it outside the room if possible. Most of the heat will come from your light though.

yea sorry if it didnt sound right, but i heard that the ballast actually puts of more heat then the light it self, so i have a idea of wen i start to use my hps again, that ill wire it up so i can make all the ballastes out side the room, or in a defferent room, instead of being right next to the lights, it will also give me more room!
