im gonna be growing in a 6x6 area using the sog method what lighting do yall suggest? i was thinking about having a 1000 watt hid mh in veg and hps in flowering. also i was thinking of adding 8 t-8 32 watt fluroscents in 2 4 bulb light fixtures, it has 3,434 lumens per ft squared which is kinda low. do you suppose i should forget the fluroscents and get another 600 watt hid? any suggestions or advise would be nice.

The thing about the Flouros is that you have to have them a couple inches away from the plants, if your using a 1000w HID then you cant put the T8 above the plants cuz you will block the 1000w light. With SOG putting them at the sides wont help the plants in the middle much. I would probably just save the T8s for cloning if I was you.

Starting out big is not good u should start small then work ur way up u just dont thow a baby into the deep end do you thats what growing is like when he doesent even kno anything about growing not a good ideal at all
