Are 2 50watt florescent lights good enough for 6 plants (vegetation state)

that will not give you what you're looking for. For reference I've used Floros for veg and would typically have at least 100w (true not equivalent) per plant. Good luck.

ya if you wanna do 6 plants then i would invest in at least a 400 hps

are you talking T5 tubes ? or 50 watt actual cfls ?

for vegetation i just put my shit in the window or in my room and leave the windows open...no one can see that shit. Light is most important in the vegetative stage because the plant is developing, so naturally, sunlight is going to be the best source. Cannabis plants can actually flower when there is no light, but they won't be that great. I think you should re think your lighting for the vegetative stage but for flowering the set up you mentioned sounds fine as long as you regulate it to 12/12

Well I was going to say a 400 watt would be perfect but max nailed it if you need cheap equipment I might be able to help you out! Best of luck!
