Lights Dropped On It

second week of flowering and the lights somehow fell on the plant that had just started to bud and there were female hairs finally showing up

took the lights off right after they fell...

it was pretty healthy, but the stem is a bit bent and the top portion of the bud is bent slightly and looks messy and sort of crushed.

will it hermie or die?

just tie it up in place with a support like kabob sticks and keep it at the same light cycle... heres a pic of one of my plants stems that i actually bent on purpose... truely though, didnt mean to break it when it happened, the plant was too heavy for its stem when i did the bending and it broke itself so i stood it up at a 90 degree angle and it healed, that was in veg but it gives you an idea of what the plants can survive, here you go5.5 042.jpg

lol, ive put some of my plants through the ringer and they havent hermied yet... i think it also has to do with genetics... the one seen in my pic is boyzenberry

I'm sure they'll be okay. Things like this happen.

That does suck that you've had other things going on during this grow. That's a pain in the ass, but a part of being a new grower.

Hey, not sure what nutes you're using, but Advanced Nutrients is a good lineup to check out. And they have a lot of great growing info on their site, even if you don't end up using their nutes.

Growing equipment too - I'm saving up for their ballasts right now.

Rambling. Good luck!
