Is there a best method to leaving your light on to get the most veg for my babies. should i leave the light on 24/7 or should i do a 18/6?............ any help would be appreciated! Thank you:peace::peace:

theres no facts either way, nothing is proven.

It is growers personal preference, me? im just to lazy to buy extra timers for those lights, plus I like to go and view mothers any time I want.

Its just easier to leave it on for the extra 6.

this debate has been going on for decades were not gonna prove ne thing here.

my self i use the 18/6 light cycle. one thing you can do is go to the grow faq read about lighting.rember you are trying to mimic nature. there is no place on this planet that has 24 hours of light from the sun.gl on your grow. may you be cursed with many buds

its not only on the north pole there is sun 24/7 in the summers
i live in sweden and in the northest part of sweden there is 24/7 of sun during a period of the summer

Sorry about the Hijack, not too off topic I hope.

So im unsure of what photoperiod I want to give my plants, The 2 predominant ones out there are:

18hrs Light | 6hrs Dark
or
24hrs Light | 0hrs Dark

Does anyone have any deeper knowledge or experience to comment on a 20hr Light | 4hr Dark cycle?

One thing you should remember though is, once you pick your light cycle, stick to it.
swapping light cycles, or allowing dark to reach your plants at lights out puts undue stress on your plants and can possibly turn them into Hermaphrodite plants (male and female(self polinating)) = seeds not buds :(
