I'm vegging 4 sk#11 and 2 big bang girls in soil under 400 HPS at the moment. I have them on 24/24 but they look like they need a bit of a rest if you know what i mean. Can I put them on 18/6 without sending them hermie or anything?

Please help

Sure can! Just adjust your timer to 18/6 until you are ready to flower.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest, I'll give that a go. I've had a bit of a hermie problem and dont want it to happen this time around.

I have even heard of 20/4 to start. What do your plants look like? How can you tell they need a rest? Is this something we all should do?

the only time my plants ever looked like they needed a rest,,was before I put proper ventilation in my closet,since then they never look tired

I have proper ventilation, I have a fan blowing 24/7. They are in a closet in the garage and the door is always a little open and air comes in up to 10 times a day. Instead of praying upwards they are drooping down, at first I thought it was over watering but they are still doing it. it's like they have not got started properly like the skunk #11 did.
