Lighting

I've just started my first grow and I don't have any money to spend on lighting at the moment but the only thing i can get is a 250 watt red bulb. It's actually just heating lamp but it's wery bright. Is it ok to use a bulb like that?

What type pf bulb is it???Incandescent????Fluorescent????Hid?????

That light won't work. No money? Bro ... you're going to need the proper equipment to grow quality bud. How about the Big Light In The Sky? Can you grow in a container outside?

It's a incandescent bulb and I live in iceland so the sun is not an option... so I guess i'll just have to save up some money and buy some real lighting.

CFL's are cheap and effective. I've just bought a 125w that converts into 200w. I think it emits soft blue light, but it would be enough to get you through one grow. Mine cost 40 quid sterling and you can plug it straight into the mains.

Compact fluoros are cheaper thena 2 dolla ho dude....with just a few u can go all the way from seed to harvest
