I am disabled so I have a very limited budget. Can I use flo light all the way through wal mart 40 w plant and aquarium i will only be growing about 3 plants. if not can you use the night security lights with high pressure sodium bulbs

I would go with the hps all the way but since u have $$$ probs you need to consider the electricity bill at the end of the month....Peace and Pot

my power bill is like $30 dollars a month i live in the mountains how much more a month will this raise it you think>

watts/1000 = kW x hours of operation = kWh x kWh rate = cost

Is this simple enough????

those security lights usually come in 70w-100w fixtures, so electricity consumption would be pretty small. i would combine fluoros and the hps for better growth

they sell 150w lights that consume 43w of electricity at wall mart. i just bought some for $7 each. so if you get 2 youll have 300watts but itll only be comsuming like 86watts. thats a good cheap way. check out the pics i have in my profile.
