Lighting times for vegging

I know that in the veg stage the light schedule should be 18/6, but could I do a 6/6/6/6 schedule, for those who look at that and are confused, thats 6 on 6 off 6 on again and 6 off. The reason I was curious about this is I am trying to save power and heat from my 1000w. I have read that you can even start with a 12/12 regiment and as long as you interupt the 12 hours of dark they won't go into flowering.

Also was wondering if this different light schedule will make the veg period longer as opposed to a 18/6 regiment.

Yeah, that would be awesome!!!! You will get the best looking hermie plants anyone has ever seen!@?$$#@%@!!!!!! Fabulous.

No? Some people shouldn't ask questions when they are high. Where did you come up with that idea? Where in mother nature does anything even remotely simmilar to that happen?

On a serious note. You want to save power run your operation at night when power is cheaper, and also temps are cooler. That is about the only way. I live alone, and my power bill is probably 75% my grow op.

So I thought the idea of indoor growing was to be able to do stuff nature couldn't so ease up on the asshole comments. No question is a stupid question. I run my energy sucking equipement during the day when most people use electricity, to lessen suspition. Logically I thought maybe it could be done, but sorry you must be all knowing, dick.

I'm sorry I acted like an ass last night. Had a few too many. Your question is very basic and can be found in the newbie faq section. You are trying to replicate a perfect outdoor environment. Also, don't worry about when you use your electricity. They don't know when you work bro.

I know people like my folks actually save their dishwasher, laundry, etc for after 9pm or something like that because its a lot cheaper. You aren't the only one running stuff at night. Not to mention they have plenty of other things to do than the cops jobs. If you're a paying customer, and causing no trouble that is the best way to go about your business.
